The cave of Muroto Located on the southeastern tip of Kochi Prefecture, the city of Muroto has close ties to the priest Kobo Daishi. Here Kukai wholeheartedly recited the mantra of Akasagarbha (Kokuzo Gumonji no ho). It is said the planet Venus entered Kukai's mouth.
